Double Template # 6

What a week! It feels like it should be Friday night already and we're only half way there. Well a little better then half way. (hehe)

First off the little one has not taken a nap in a week and a half and Monday was not her day. Just looking at her would send her off in a tantrum. Then to top the day off when I was putting the finishing touches on the 5pk of landscape templates (one of the prizes for the drawing) I discovered they were all the wrong size!!! Instead of 8.5 x 11 I made them all 8 x 11.5! So I proceeded to investigate the others that I have waiting to be posted here and discovered that all the new ones were the same way! For a total of 17 landscape templates that needed to be fixed! Ack!!

Tuesday I spent making banana bread with the youngster and fixing templates. I am happy to say that they're all fixed!

Today was a much better day. The little one napped! The good and the bad is that she napped on my lap while I sat at the computer. Sorry to say my computer chair is not made to sit in for that long in one position. Both my legs were asleep and my butt was numb but I enjoyed every moment of her laying across my lap. Her blanky was her pillow against the hard arm rest. And while she napped I made a new kit. I deviated a bit and made a hockey one. You will have to wait till Friday September 5Th to download it. I made it in honer of my nephew who will be 21 on the 5Th.

Speaking of sports and kits... Yes I will take requests however I will make no guarantee as to when they/it will be posted or in what order.

The poll about template sizes closed a few days ago. This is what I have decided.

I will continue to make them all, with a few small changes.

Landscape templates will be a bit more often. Also if you have a favorite 12 x 12 template of mine that you would like me to convert to a landscape, please let me know and I will get them posted as they come in. these may not be perfect but they will be very close.

Double templates will also be seen a bit more often. All of my double templates come in two files side a and side b. These can also be used as stand alone 12 x 12's (most of them).

12 x 12 will still be available just maybe not as often.
Now I feel like I have blabbed long enough but before we get to the freebie, Please remember to leave a comment and enter the drawing here are the rules:

Rules:

Thanks so much for the new template! Sorry you needed to resize all of those landscapes; that's a lot of work. I can't imagine how you worked on the computer with your baby in your lap; that must've been difficult! How long was she asleep? Linda

Thank you for the double template. I was one of those that voted for double templates.

I can just picture you working away with the little one cuddled up on your lap. You must have been pretty stiff when it came time to get up!

I sincerely want to thank you for all the templates you share. They have been a godsend to me as I scrap for 7 grandchildren. You have a wonderful talent for making great templates that are not hard for me to work with.

Thank you for the double templates...my absolute favorite!

So sorry about all that with the templates...what a pain! Frustrating as well.

This has been a week as well...computer problems after computer problems...and with 2 brand new computers. sigh.

I'm going to try to get away at least for a DAY if not overnight this weekend...I need a sanity break! lol How about you?
