Busy, Busy...

Oh my, have we been busy! Last week we had two dental appointments and two birthdays to celebrate and this week it has been the eye Doctor, the dentist and back to the dentist again in the mourning. I had know idea how much prep work there is in getting braces. The way things look our oldest will be getting her braces about 1 week before school starts. and about a week after the kids go back to school I will begin having my dental work done. I have been putting mine off for a couple of years now.

I'll tell you more about what mine is when the time gets closer, for now we will leave it at, I have not seen a dentist in over 16 years, I'm terrified of them!

Template Double Portrait #2

Wow lots of things have been happening while a was away!

I was tagged by Sindiego! Something to do with 7 little known facts about myself. But I will have to put it off for a day or 2. I am still sorting out the email not to mention the snail mail. I also have a deadline for a landscaping project that I have been putting off because of the trip. I did not want to be mid-way through it and then leave for a week, so now it's time to get busy on it. So there will probably only be one freebie a day for a week or so. But then again there might be a surprise here and there for you.

OK now on to Our trip...

We left Friday and drove to Kansas City, Kansas for a business meeting and then drove to Denver on Saturday.

Sunday we attended our nephews graduation party.

Congratulations!

On Monday, Memorial Day we all got together at my Mother-in-laws (Moms)house for a big barbecue.

Tuesday and Wednesday were taken up with more business meetings. Hopefully we will be going back to complete a few deals and sign a few more contracts. Crossing our fingers.

Thursday we hung out at Moms and mowed there lawn while they were at work. I also replaced all the internal parts of there toilet. The H unit formatted moms computer for her.

Friday we went to Elich Gardens. The girls had a blast and my father-in-law convinced me to go on one of the roller coasters. I had a blast and so did the whole family. Even our youngest rode rides. Almost all the kiddie rides, and the tea cups with Mom and Dad. I ended up with a really bad sunburn on top of my shoulders but it was the best trip to an amusement park we have taken!

Saturday, the H unit went golfing with one of his good friends while Mom and I took the kids and our good friends wife and kids to the Denver Zoo.

Wow is it big! I don't think we even got to see half of it.

Sunday we were supposed to come home but on Saturday I got really sick shortly after we got back from the zoo. I felt it coming on and knew I had to get out of the sun, but it was a little to late.

What really sucks is he hates to drive so I end up doing 80-90 percent of it. Because of this we stayed in Denver an extra day so I could recover. I feel much better now however my shoulders still look as red as a cooked lobster.

But we are home now and the next planned event is in 2 months and I will be gone a week then to. But this next one is a family reunion camping trip.

They keep on a coming...

Man, what a day!

I have never been more disorganized for a trip in my life. I totally spaced the fact that we would be gone over memorial day. So today we meet with Grandpa and went out to the cemetery to put flowers on Grandma's grave. And also on her folks spot (my Great Grandparents). Grandma always gets Brilliant fire red geraniums. My Great Grandparents also get red geraniums but a slightly less intense red. We also went to the grocery store, had the ears lowered on the boy and got the oil in our van changed and ready for the trip. We also ran over and visited with my significant others uncle for a bit after dinner tonight. This is the first time I have had to finally sit down. But I have us about 90% packed and all that's left is bathroom things, the cooler and loading it all in the van. What a day....

Myself, well I'm getting a bit panicky. For trips that I have all planed out I am normally packed and ready to go 2 to 3 days before hand. Not this time around! I haven't done a darn thing. Instead we have been hanging out at the parks and having movie nights. So tomorrow is going to be really really busy since we are leaving on Friday! Good evening everyone!

Before we get to the freebies I wanted to let you all know that next week I will not be here. We are off to Kansas City and then to Denver. Business meetings with some family time built around them. We will be going to the Denver Zoo and to the amusement parks while we are gone. Work for 3 days and vacation for 5 with 2-3 days of driving mixed in. So it will be a bit more then a week before we get back. The total mileage, with out any side adventures is almost 2500 miles, Oh the cost of gas! So what am I getting at you ask?
