Template #279 ~ freebie

Busy Busy...
Oh the last week has been a busy one and I'm paying for it today. Oh how I ach all over! First off the little one was off from school all week so we were busy doing all sorts of things. Her teacher stopped by for a home visit and explained rainbow crayons to us. So we made some! really easy to do. If any one would like to know how just say the word! On Wednesday I saw some signs up for the neighbor hood rummage so I decided to throw one together last minute and spent Thursday setting up. Also on Thursday night I surprised grandpa with a new TV. Well new to him. I bought it off a friend of mine dirt cheap. Picked it up and delivered it to grandpa Thursday night. We discovered that it is larger then is old one and was really wobbly on his tv stand. So I told grandpa about the entertainment center that my friend had used for the tv and was also selling. I called him and set it up for Saturday to show it to grandpa. We had the garage sale on Friday and got rained out on Saturday. We didn't do to bad considering I never put signs out or did any advertising.  I only packed two boxes up to save for the next sale. I cleaned everything up and returned grandpa's garage to him on Saturday afternoon. When the rain took a break I took grandpa over to my friends house and he bought the entertainment center. My friend and I loaded it, then I had the oldest help me move it into grandpa's place and get the tv all set up again. Crazy busy couple of days and my feet and back are definitly screaming at me today. I'm so not used to being/standing on concrete so much. Dirt and grass is so much softer! I have a couple of contracts lined up for later in the month for my landscaping. Looking forward to those. Also need to build a deck and fence at grandpa's and install the new gutters on our place.  The weatherman says rain for the next 10 days so we will see how much I get done. I also need to get cranking on my tax's, I have everyone's done but my own!

Hello MidnightScrapping!

Thank you so much for your wonderful templates! I downloaded quite when I first started digiscrapping. Then, the grant for my job ran out in 2008, so then I was working several part-time ones to keep a roof over my head and food in my belly. Of course, that meant I stayed busy, busy, busy ... way too busy for scrapbooking. You know how it goes.

Now I'm finally retired and catching up a bit on my addiction ... er, hobby. LOL! I'm so glad to see that you are still making templates! And you landscape, too. I used to do that for my ex-husband's construction company. When he finished with a building, I'd come in and clean up the jobsite, do a bit of grading, plant bushes and trees and sometimes flowers, and lay the sod down. I love outside work, especially if it helps keep me fit.

I'm going to bookmark your blog and hope that you come online sometime to check it. You are very busy with your family and work these days, but I want to encourage you to keep up your designing. IMHO, you are very talented!

Sincerely, mskinsey (aka EvaMarie)
