July 4th

Evening Everyone!

I hope you all had a safe forth of July. My day consisted of cleaning house and working on a new scrap kit.

But this evening We had a blast!
Meet Titan, err I mean Thor.

While researching Puggles a couple of weeks ago I came across a local breeder. I remember that my dad was interested in getting another Min Pin. Well one thing lead to another and I got to play foster mom for about 2 hours this evening. Grandpa, the girls and I went and picked the little guy up from the breeder. My dad got off work at 2 am Saturday morning and drove straight through to pick him up and turn around to head back to Wyoming to be to work on Monday. Very long drive just to pick up a dog. Anyway......

This next photo was taken just seconds after I handed the little guy over to my Dad.

This is Otus My Dads other registered Min Pin and Titan, I mean Thor's new big brother. Otus is pushing 14 and showing his age just a bit. hehe Great dog, my dads best friend, but don't mess with him, the truck, or my dad. You would think you had a rottweiler after you. I would much rather be bitten by the rottweiler, (yep happened while we were camping) then by this guy. Which has happened on way more then one occasion.

We just had to weigh the little guy. Can you tell were a fishing family? Berkley fish scale! ROFL The scale read 2.6 but the bucket alone was .2 so Thor is just shy of 2.5 pounds. Just a wee little guy!

After all was said and done. It was time to shoot off the fireworks! Out of all the pictures the one below is the only one that turned out. My camera just don't cut it for night time stuff. Oh well the girls had fun and that is what mattered, not the pictures.

Double Template #35 and Splash Template

Evening Everyone!
I hope everyone has a Safe and Happy 4th of July. We went and bought some fireworks for the girls last Wednesday. Wow! The prices of those have gone up! We some how manage to spend only 11 dollars. Not bad considering in past years it has been upwards of 200 dollars! We are keeping it small this year just enough for the girls to say the did some and then were heading out to watch our towns free fireworks show. You just can't beat free!

Keep those LO's coming! Between seeing what you do with my stuff and all of your wonderful comments, well it just makes my day. Besides it keeps me motivated. Not only with scrapping but it helps me get my house work done. How? you ask, well no play till the work is done. If I want to scrap or design, I must get the nasty work done first!

Template #192

Evening All!
How many of you noticed I skipped this weeks single template? For some reason I thought Monday evening was Sunday evening and went, what the heck, and put up the word art. Tuesday morning I woke up and checked the blog like always, That's when I discovered I had my days mixed up! So tonight I am giving you Template # 192. Hope you don't mind it being a bit late. :P And no I'm not blond! Although the pictures you have seen of me on the blog show me that way. In my younger days I bleached it. Looking back I can't believe that I ever did that!

I also wanted to mention that ALL of the QP's here on the blog will be retiring next Friday July 10. I will get a list and the links for them up over the weekend so you don't have to hunt through the archives.

We have been spending a lot of time doing this, this past week. While the little one plays I lay in the sun and try and read my book. Usually I'm to busy laughing at her to get much reading done!

Project 365 Week 27

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Yep a mid day post! Surprise Surprise!
Hope your week has been going good. Just remember today is hump day and it's all down hill from here!

Speaking of down hill from here, did you realize that we are half way through Project 365?
Thursday is the start of week 27. If you count Thursday to Wednesday like I have been. How many of you are still going Strong with the project? I didn't make it past the second week!
Congratulations to those of you who are still chugging along, and a big thank you to everyone who leaves a comment. They keep me motivated! With out the comments and motivation the templates would be a lot fewer and farther apart.

I was a horrible blogger and scrapper in June and I Pledge to do a whole lot better this Month. We have a new Participation Gift this month that has a bit of a bang to it for the 4th. So let's see those Layouts and fill up that slide show! Since I am so late at getting the June Lo's up I will leave them in the Slide Show at the bottom until this weekend.

Now let's get to those Layouts!
