Ski Lesson

Evening all!
I actually did a layout tonight!
The boy had his first ski lesson tonight. I spent the evening standing at the bottom of the bunny slope freezing my hiney off and snapping pictures like crazy! I wasn't the only mom out there freezing, there were dads with camera's too! He absolutely loved it and is already asking when we are going again. He will have lessons every Friday evening until the end of the season! So while the oldest is bowling the boy will be Skiing. Now just to find something for the four year old to do out side of playing Violin at school. Did you know all 3 kids play the violin in there school orchestras this year? Last year the boy played the Cello. The oldest will get her "Letter" this year for Orchestra. I really wish our Ski place offered more deals. I would like to get both girls on the slopes also but right now it's a special deal for 5th grade students only. 5th grade Fridays.
Shh don't tell the boy but I think he is gonna get new snow pants for Christmas. He put his on tonight for skiing and they were skin tight! Wow did he grow this past year!

Howdy every one!
I know it's been a while, well, most of the month that I have been missing in action. I have to admit it's been do to my depression kicking my butt. I had a couple of really really bad weeks there but now things are starting to turn around, I think.
I'm posting last weeks this weeks and next weeks P365 templates for you. I'm gonna take the rest of the month off and work and feeling better and getting back to a better place. I will see you all in the new year, I hope you stick this out with me. If my hopes for the new year come true you will all be pleasantly surprised.

In the mean time can you guys give me your input as to what hosting site(s) you would prefer I use next year. 4 shared has been having a lot of issues lately and media fire well..... nothing good to say so I won't say anything on that one.

I'm currently working on a Layout to go with this template but I'm to tuckered out to finish it tonight. Trying to help keep track of 30 teenagers for 5 hours is a lot more work then I'm used to!
I'll explain a bit more tomorrow when I share my layout with you all. I hope I get it done tomorrow, it's going to be another bowling filled day. I'm accompanying a few of the girls for a practice session in the morning since the coach can't make it. Then we are going to a few of the pro shops to try and find a Bowling ball that the oldest can call her own. House balls are ok for the occasional player but it's hard to be consistent with a different ball every week. Heck I have 3 of my own and I have never done league bowling.

P365 Missing In Action

Hi All!
Happy Armistice Day!
Happy Veteran's Day!

I know I'm late, but I hope I have a good enough excuse for you this time.
Wednesday was my birthday! Normally I would have given out a freebie just because of that, but my boyfriend took me on a surprise shopping trip then out to dinner followed by a movie at home. I ended up falling asleep just before the movie ended.

Today we had Bowling practice for the oldest this morning. I even took my ball along and bowled a couple of games while I waited for practice to end. Then she banned me from the house for 3 hours this afternoon so her and a friend could put together a "Surprise Party" for me. When she called and said I could finally come home, I walked into a house full of people! I few are still here but I just had to sneak away for a few minutes. I tend to have panic attacks when around large groups.

I will have your P365 and an extra bonus template up on Friday night for you all! It'll be late like after 10 or 11 pm. The oldest has her first bowling- um match, game? Not sure what you really call it. I know it's not a tournament though, but it is out of town.

I better get back to the guests....

Good evening all!
Running a bit later then planned tonight. Thought I was gonna have a nice relaxing day at home today. Made some Peanut butter cookie dough last night that I promised to bake with the kids this morning after taking Sadie to the vet for round 2 of puppy shots. She is 13.5 pounds already!
Anyway while baking the cookies a client called. Plans had changed for there daughters birthday party and they needed the yard and garden clean up done asap. Party is Sunday. So after the cookies were done I dropped the kids off at Grandpa's and Sadie and I went to work!

But Friday night I did get a couple of Layout's done using the {i}NSD templates that you get tonight!

Project 365 Week 42 Template ~ Freebie

Good Evening or Morning depending on how you want to look at it!

It's very very early morning here. Sorry I don't have the psp Images for you tonight. You will need to pop over to Michele's Blog in a day or two to pick those up. I totally spaced it being Wednesday night. The kids all went back to school after a long weekend and my brain is convinced it's only Monday! I kind of wish it still was Monday. Monday was a gorgeous fall day! The last two have been damp and almost cold. Right now it's only 37 degrees F outside but I still have the windows open!

You know for it only being one a.m. I am wound up and ready to start my day! I actually had a migraine this afternoon and by dinner time I was out cold. The boyfriend made dinner for the kids and let me sleep it off. But after a 7 hour nap I'm wide awake! That's more sleep then I get in any given night! I only average about 5 normally. See I really do need to take better care of myself. Which is what part of my break is about.

While I have been up tonight I spent a little bit of time on my "Fall Adventures" LO.
I think it's the best version so far, shadow wise that is.

Fall Adventures

Evening Everyone!
Wow! Thank you all so much for your well wishes! You make it sound like I'm really leaving! I'm just slowing down a bit and trying to find my joy in scrapping again. It will all be hit and miss as to when I post except for the P365 templates. I'm not going to keep a schedule and just see where it leads us. Hopefully on some new and exciting adventures! I really need to get back to spending more quality time with the family and focusing more on the everyday moments in life.

Tonight I need your help.
What is going on with the shadows for the leaves in this layout?!
I don't like them and the longer I keep trying to make the shadows on them look real the worse it gets! I get so frustrated with shadowing, I usually give up on it but then I'm never satisfied with the layout.
Does anyone have any advice on shadowing? Or know of a good tutorial. Shadowing is a major downfall of mine that I would really like to improve on.

Once I finalize the layout I'll re post it with the template (if you guys want it) and full credits.

Good evening everyone,
With a heavy heart and a great deal of debating with myself, I have decided to take a break from the blog. We have been having some family issues, mostly with the teen, but the bigger issue is the blog has become more of a job then a hobby lately. I used to turn to it and scrapping as my escape, but for the last few months I have been dreading each post. I'm not sure what I will be doing about the fan kits or when I will come back to designing. The one thing I will guarantee through all this, is that your P365 Templates will continue! So please make sure you stop back each Wednesday! I will also be suspending the monthly participation gifts for the next month or two. I have had so few people participate over the last few months It don't seem worth it to do it anymore, but only time will tell. I do have some wonderful things in mind for when I come back, please bear with me during this time.

Evening all!

No more sick bugs! The kids are all back in school as of today! Yippee!

I feel so out of the loop in the scrapping world! I can't wait to sit down with my coffee in the morning and do some catching up with a few of my favorite blogs. Hopefully I'll find some inspiration because that sure has been lacking the last couple of weeks for me. I didn't even get tonight's Template done until just a few minutes ago, which also means that for those of you who use the PSP files, will need to stop over to Michele's Blog and pick those up in the next day or so.

Foggy Mind Template ~ Freebie

Evening all.
Sorry I did not get that freebie posted Friday or Saturday for you all.
Seems I'm saying sorry a lot as of late! This time It's for good reason.
We all got sick!
Started with the oldest last Monday. she went back to school Thursday. the little one and I both got hit on Friday afternoon with it. She is looking better, but possibly has pink eye and an ear infection. Have to call the doctor on Monday morning. The oldest came down sick again this morning. Bad bad this time. She can't even keep simple water down today. Gonna get her into the Doctor in the morning also. The only ones to escape this so far is the boy and Grandpa.
I'm starting to snap out of it but as you can tell I still have a "Foggy Mind" lol

It's been a cold, rainy week here. But the topper is that I have developed a deep bark like cough. Nothing else is wrong just the darn cough. Once it starts it seems to go on forever! So much so that I have a hard time catching my breath again after an attack of "The Coughs", which also triggers a nasty headache for a few minutes afterward. I feel totally wiped out from it this week.

Evening Everyone,
We had a death in the family this past week, the funeral is on Monday so I wanted to make sure the freebie was posted for you all. I'm not sure I will have time tomorrow.

On an up note the siding itself is finished!

I still need to put 2 light fixtures up and the second coat of paint on the gable trim and gutters.
After that it's pass final inspection and start on the new deck for the back yard.

Oh! The two oldest kids got glasses on Thursday!
They only need them for reading the white boards at school :)

Hi Everyone!
I finally was able to access 4Shared today. I had to switch from my Internet Explorer to FireFox, but I got it working now. I never really tried FireFox before but with being able to important all my favorites and all the other things it's not to bad. I'm just going to give it a shot and see how it goes.
Thanks for letting me know to keep trying, I was beginning to think that the site may have been down for any number of reasons.
I don't have much to report tonight. Didn't do a whole lot the last 5 days. I have not been feeling myself and actually got sick a couple of nights.
Last week I did finish up siding the gable wall that joins the house and garage together. Couple of pieces left around the patio door and one coat of paint along the roof trim and it will be done.
That and build the new deck in the back yard.
