Sorry I have been so quiet, it's been a looong week.
Saturday I took the boy to see his dad for his summer break. We were on the road at 4am and I pulled back in to my drive way that evening at 5pm. Long ass drive. Thankfully it's only twice a year. We had some nasty weather forcasted for Saturday night so I pushed it a bit getting home. We arrived home 2 hours before the tornadoes started in. An EF 4 hit not to far from here. It wiped out a farm but there were no injury's.
Sunday the oldest played in her schools orchestra for the graduation ceremony's and then she went and hung out with friends for the rest of the day (open houses and graduation parties). She was even home before curfew! I had dug out the window AC from the shed Sunday afternoon and got that put in. Wow what a difference AC can make! When we got home on Saturday it was over 90 in the house! Sunday was no better.
Monday we stayed home and sat in the AC. Tuesday we were back at grandpa's cleaning his garage. My garage sale is next weekend so I need to crank on getting ready pretty hard. We also mowed a couple of yards.
Wednesday we went and got our camper out of storage. We had tried to bring it home on mothers day weekend but it had a flat tire and the spare was also very low. So all we did that weekend was bring the spare home to air up properly. It took us over an hour yesterday just to break the lugs lose to get the tire off! Today I get to clean it up and get it ready to be sold. Yep we got a car, a van and a camper for sale at the moment. I hope they sell quick, I want my SUV! We also mowed a couple more lawns. At least the mowing is done until next week.
Thank you for the sweet comments about Cisco. She is getting really big compared to what she was when we brought her home 8 months ago! She is still my scrap buddy but the little one has more or less claimed her as hers!
