Veteran's Day

Hi everyone!
Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes! The day didn't start off to well but by mid afternoon all was well. It actually turned out to be the best birthday I have had in a few years. My son got me a locket that holds two pictures. The oldest girl gave me a (much needed) new pair of slippers. My Fiance and the youngest gave me a new external hard drive. Then when we dropped the kids off at grandpa's he gave gift cards to a couple of department stores. Yippee! I can get a good start on a new wardrobe. I went from a size 14 to a size 6 in the last 8 months. I have never worn a size 6 in my life!

We did go to the Texas Roadhouse for supper. The best steak around! I absolutely love the atmosphere! The only thing missing is a dance floor in the corner! hehe!

When we came home there was German chocolate cake with coconut and pecan frosting. Yummy!

Any how lets get on to our freebies!

Tonight's kit has a few more papers and elements in it then the others. It actually has 10 papers and I believe last count was 40 elements.

This kit comes as a special request tonight, for a group of guys who are serving our country in Iraq. Our thoughts and prayers are with you on this Veteran's Day and through out the year. May you come home soon.

Thannk you for the dogtags! My cousin served a tour in both Afghanastan and Irag, spent over a year in both places, and I am in the process of starting a scrapbook of him for my aunt, so these will come in very handy. My cousin is now an instructor at the base in Fairbanks (I can't remember what that one is), he and his wife have lived up there since he enlisted. First at Ft. Richardson, and now in Fairbanks.
Thank you to all our soldiers that serve our country here and abroad everyday.
Glad you had a good birthday!!
Hugs,
Michele
